z'kardia the first episode

Yeah, orientation started today and i am kinda glad school's starting so my brain will have something purposeful to occupy itself with. Although today was only the first day of orientation and it may seem too premature to do any blogging on it, but i kinda promised (or mentioned) to lam that i will blog about orientation so he will be updated.

So it all started in the hall where everyone was in utter disarray. The orientation video's good but i felt the actual skit could do with more humour, it was kinda not really flowing. The ORANGE magazine is kind of cool as well except they probably need to package it a little yah.

Played some ice breakers which was quite interesting. Get a handful of M & Ms and then according to the colour tell the group your most embarassing (orange)/angry(red)/sad(blue)/exciting(green) and brown for people to question you regarding your love life. wtf.

Questions range from "which part of a guy/girl (depending on your sexual orientation) do you like best", "who in the og do you think is the hottest" to the direct "are you gay/les"? Quite a good amount of haha. Then whacko with inner outer circle. I think the whacko everyone was totally stone.

But the rest of the og became more "on" later. Coming up with the cheer and then winning quite a number of the games (though we totally got owned at the spaghetti one, haiz) and after dismissal still went out for dinner. Damn happening lah. I think its great to have friendly ogls and nice people in your og. Some OGs damn sad, everyone went home immediately, haiz.

And today i comprehend why lunch at RJ deserves a full hour. First theres quite a good variety like subway (yes you heard that right) to chinese food and western food. But the queue move at around 0.1mm/min so good luck to the waiting.

So after dismissal, i found muthu and pason erm sneaking around searching for clues to the treasure hunt and decided to join them seeing that 4.30 is way way too early for lunch. Then they told me their OG just all went home and they were feeling damn sad. So after searching non stop we got quite stuck and went to bb tea shop to see teddy and paniel and their OG hanging out there. Decided to treat them to "sui bian" bubble tea and it turned out to be more palatable than one would have enxpected. (note to self: Coffee, almond, sour plum, wheat is a must for bomb bb tea)

So tomorrow's a new day. Hope it will get more and more fun!

P.S. If i ever get the privilege to influence orientation next year, 2 great ideas: a mega mega hide and seek game or a mega mega angel-mortal game. lol shd be quite cool
