thirsty thursday

So school's started and much as i would love a few more days of holidays to have og outing, odac outing, flower arrangement, celebrate dog birthday and weave basket (hur hur), I am kinda glad school has started again. Somehow school seems less of a drag nowadays and one week has already made me miss the hustle and bustle of the canteen and the people around. And much as we complain about the workload and whatnots, i think RJ workload is still lighter than that in RI, until more shit comes in heh.

This week could most aptly be described as a sin/cos graph, with its peaks and troughs in terms of homework and mood. Monday night was hiong man, with chem test the next day and tuesday night was hiong-er man as i chiong bio assignment. Then today and yesterday was just pure tranquility and gave me time to focus on stuff i've overlooked this week. On a side note, if u think of an average school day, it kinda resembles a sin/cos graph as well. The day starts quite high as u are fresh and then it drops during midday as the stomach rumbles and hunger sets in. Then you eat and feel quite tired so u still at the bottom. Then life slowly picks up and it peaks again when lessons are over.

It's kinda fun, once in a while, to go view msn message history and re-read past conversations. Of course, i sound like a total bo-liao kia but its quite cool to be able to recall memories, significant conversations, heartwarming ones, jokes and all the special stuff certain conversations bear. If only we could sieve through our memories in similar fashion and retrieve those special ones and replay it in our minds like an animation clip. We do lah, but the human brain is probably not so organised and memories just float back to you once in a while, some good, some bad but you kinda do not have total control on what you wish to recall. But that random-ness makes life a lot more unpredictable and a lot more surprising.

And i now have this tempting urge to take my hammock and try it out at the playground downstairs. Probably tie it there and just enjoy the night sky. But i reckon i can't do so as there's school tomorrow and there's the chance i might actually fall asleep and also the possibility that i might be whisked off by security or perceived as having been chased out of house and thus am resorted to lead the life of a vagrant like creature. Tomorrow night maybe.

And talking about playgrounds, i've realised how therapeutic it is to sit on a swing and just stare into the sky at an angle, letting those little bits of light drift through the cover of the trees. And the
silhouette seems to have a special ability to stimulate reflection, thinking and an inner peace. But that is until you feel a little discomfort in your stomach (swing-sick i call it) or the poor little kid stands near and starts staring at you longingly, whichever comes first.

Am sorry that this post seems to have no structure or sequence whatsoever, just posted what came to my mind.

To compensate i shall share with you some jokes and ha-ha moments of the week.

Don't close the screen.

1. Willy was talking about z'odac and wanted to ask me what i usually do with my OG in the mornings or something to that extent. And it came out as:
"So what do you do with your og in the moaning?"
I wonder what on earth willy does with his og in the morning, moaning probably?

2. James lee and his man scar and the ants-and-underwear tales. (refer to odac blog)

3. And to share a joke that the mundane mind comes up with during the not-so-mundane store wash:
Q: From which continent do the most unenthusiastic and bored people hail from?
A: Asia. Cause they are aSIAN.

4. at council room area b4 assembly and wanted to ask james if he opened odac room:
"Hey have you 开房 already?"

5. Lastly heard from some milk powder advertisement:
"contains Taurine......blah...blah...blah and FOS"
!!!
FOS = well go figure it out yourself

And cause i've seen it more than thrice today, i shall end of with
