Event: Ang "Ladyboss" Yishan's Birthday Celebration

Location: Seletar Country Club, Kingfisher II Ballroom

People: GeraldTay, James, Mel, Kelly, Gina, Pason, Marie, Gavan, Charlene, Sauling, subsequently Meiting and Rng.

Programme:
Started with games. The first one was the giveyouaformtoseehowmuchyouknowaboutyishan game. Realised that i didnt really know her THAT well. Didnt sleep(over) with her, didnt know her address, didnt know her shoe size, nor her "eye power", nor her dog's name, nor her siblings name (apprently its not er shan and san shan). After that was the class game where they say they want the longest, or shortest, or widest or biggest ... and each table sends out two people. Our table won one of the categories, i think its the widest ears (none other than mel ho). Highlight of the game was the "smartest fool" and the "widest smile" (kin wai owns all). Adjourned for dinner amidst chorus of what the girls term "the PSB track" and then had some other games after that though i really cannot remember liao.

Present:
This account would not be complete without making mention the present we gave her. It was, i believe, as much memorable to the receipient as much as it was to the givers (Gerald, me, pason, marie and gavan). Since we had 5 people sharing, we felt it was within our means to get ladyboss clothes from mango. No, its not the shop that man go. Ok nvm. Yah they chose some pink top for her whilst i proudly chose a small pink handbag for her (and figured out how to open it). Was quite reasonably priced in the end. But twas not the highlight of the present. We kept the top and handbag away and taking the large mango paper bag, we placed what should most suitably be in the paper bag.

Yes, we went to Isetan and bought 1x mango and placed it inside. Then we gave it to Ms Ang, and she dropped the bag. So totally did not appreciate our present lor, and somemore its the thought that counts and we put so much thought into it. Oh, forgot to mention we also went borders and to the "Sex/Intimacy" section and browsed through everything there and decided to get the book "Pocket Sized Superflirt" as opposed to the "Over 100 triple X Sex Tricks" as we felt the former was definitely more "educational" and "beneficial".

Atmosphere:
Back to the party. Yah so our table was pretty much damn damn high, as in the i-swear-their-on-drugs kind of highness lah. We were like being quite rowdy and noisy and during the games especially, me and gerald tay were cracking all sorts of lame stuff like "four arms" and "largest ice". Although Yishan tried to shush us, we continued the highness and i believe there was no harm in that for without which, the party would have been a lot more dead. But now everyone probably thinks ODAC some woodbridge club or something lah, not that we play a lot of bridge, but yah you get the idea.

But what i feel meant a lot to me was not just the enthusiasm and spirit of the odac bunch but really the bonds that are so prevalent amongst us (even though not all of odac was there) even though it has only been a mere 2 months. That's what ODAC does to you man, or what i would like to believe has done to us. It's like we were singing non stop (songs that were both clean and not-so-clean), cracking jokes, laughing our asses off at everything, and having fun unrestrainedly. It surprised even me that we could be so bonded together and hopefully it can only go forwards from this point on. Hopefully, the bonds can only be stronger and closer. Hopefully, the whole batch can be close, like one big macromolecule.

And i believe last night was an exhibition of the odac spirit in action both to those at our table and around us. That's what ODAC does, and hopefully it does more.
