Electromagnetic Induction

It all began with a simple idea, with me feeling that its quite weird to have an inauguration ceremony in a bare and plain LT. Thus, came the need for at least a banner, to make the atmosphere a little more exciting. However, no responses on the egroups whatsover kinda made me wanna junk the whole idea.

But i just mentioned the idea briefly to gerald tay and pason and james and somehow or another group 1 and 2 also turned up this morning. Everyone just spontaneously agreed to spend their saturday back in school just to paint a banner that they don't know what is gonna be on it. And for that, this humble guy here is extremely grateful and thankful for your "on-ness" and enthusiasm. It really was heartening to see so many people down and all hyped to paint the banner. Thank you berry berry much and i lub choo all.

Sadly, so many errors were committed. Bought wrong paint, didnt buy emulsion, no thinner, unpunctual etc. just total unpreparedness on my part. And am really feeling so so bad that i kinda wasted the whole day for many people. Time wasted seating around doing magic card tricks, talking cock, playing cards. But no matter how bored you guys were, you all just stayed on without much grumbling and whining. You guys just stuck on at the council room. And for that, this grateful guy here is extremely full of joy. Thank you so berry much everyone.

For some reason, i feel the inauguration on monday should be of some importance. Sure, some of you may dismiss such "lame" ceremonies as nothing more than tradition and being overtly fanciful. But i believe inaugurations and investitures do, consciously or not, forge an identity among the group. It is more than a mere ceremony, its more like a celebration and fellowship among all the groups to acknowledge one another. Perhaps that is why it should be more than just a mere 2hr session in a cold and bare LT. Perhaps that is why might want to do more to make the atmosphere better......sparkling wine? one colour top for all?

Last but certainly not the least, this dude would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the one Wu Zhuoyi for his help and sheer coincidence for meeting the odac people and outlining the poster for us. Thank you dude, owe you one.

T(H)ANK YOU!
